Restaurant group with multiple locations in Wine Country is looking for a qualified Event Production Manager for their successful group....Using local, sustainable food, and they have developed many in-house programs to meet this goal, including growing and harvesting many of the produce items used in their restaurants
We are looking for energetic, positive individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and can provide consistent, friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Successful candidates will be professional, detail-oriented, organized, and possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
This position works closely with our guests at all stages of creating their event. Duties include: responding to guest inquiries, creating and revising proposals, conducting site visits and menu tastings, and facilitating events.
*Ability to provide or complete Food Handler Certification and renew as necessary.
*Ability to provide or complete LEAD certification and renew as necessary.
*Requires extensive knowledge of or the ability to learn philosophy on wine, food and service.
*Must possess a sense of urgency and general catering knowledge.
*Degree in Hospitality Management or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
*Must have a high degree of computer competency and a fundamental understanding and ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel.
*Ability to correspond professionally with guests both verbally and in writing.
*Must consent to a motor vehicle record check and be approved as a company driver.
This is a full-time position with some evening and weekend hours required. Benefits available after successful completion of an introductory period: Medical, Dental, Vision, Dining, Sick Time, Vacation, Bonus. Annual salary is $55,000 to $70,000 DOE.
