* Communicates goals and objectives of the Executive Chef * Ensures food quality, consistency and portioning. Will work on the line during the shift to ensure this occurs. * Ensures cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and storage area * Supervises kitchen Team Members * Conducts physical inventory * Trains new kitchen Team Members * Acts as the Head Chef during that persons absence
* Experience in all stations on the line * Has good decision making skills * Has great organizational skills * Knowledge of correct portions and positions on plates * Proactive, punctual and a great communicator (must understand and speak English) * Must be committed to our mission and culture
* 2-3 years previous experience as a Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
