We are recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions, here in the Bay Area, and we now have openings for a Chef de Cuisine as well as a Sous chef for our Food and Beverage Department!
Reporting to the General Manager, these positions hold the responsibility for providing high quality menus, recipes and culinary programs in a dining hall operation. This includes the producing high quality, fresh, seasonal, just in time meals, monitoring of financial & budgetary transactions to ensure efficient operation and expenditures within budget limitations, staff management and supervision, implementation of promotional campaigns, special events and catering, and ensuring department standards are met on a daily basis.
