This popular chef-driven restaurant is seeking a qualified service manager with a focus on guest hospitality. They are passionate and believe in the power of service and hospitality. In collaboration, with the restaurant’s General Manager and Chefs, they are seeking a Service Manager to lead and manage all facets of the FOH operations, service and bar program.
Ideal candidate would manage and execute service and improve upon hospitality and service standards, and advance the education of staff. Candidate will be responsible for FOH training, bar program and daily operations. Candidate must have the ability to lead and inspire staff, and display a commitment to quality and hospitality. Knowledge and curiosity about and for seasonal wine and food is key as well as the confidence and ability to lead high energy, volume driven services.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in fast paced hospitality management as well as a minimum of one year in fine dining hospitality management.
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal/oral/listening) and Leadership Skills
- Fluency in excel and word
- Food & Beverage knowledge with a solid understanding of Italian and California wines, spirits and regional Italian cuisine **This position has growth potential and ability to explore a number of career opportunities.
