Dining Room Manager needed!

San Francisco, CA
This award winning, fine dining San Francisco restaurant is seeking Dining Room Manager to lead and manage all facets of the FOH performance, education and service. Must be experienced with formal fine dining service and thrive on attention on to detail and be proactive. Must execute on a high level.

Ensure that the dining room is well maintained and is prepared for service daily
See that all supplies that pertain to FOH operations are stocked and ordered 
Oversee the update work manual and ensure that side work is consistently completed 
Manage FOH staff ensuring utmost guest satisfaction
Manage the flow of service through communication with staff
Continually offer new ideas for the service of guests
Review daily reservations- fulfill any special requests, review confirmations and cover counts
Identify service levels for guests
Develop relationships with both new and regular guests
Daily property walk through
Daily meeting and interface with all departments and senior management for any requirements, updates and changes
  • CDC for any menu changes
  • Pastry chefs for any menu changes
  • Wine department for any changes
  • Private Dining
Staff role call
Prepare all line up documents 
Oversee staff breaks and family meal preparations
Final DR walk through- lighting, restrooms, table sets and placement
Manage the opening of the restaurant
Check with Chefs prior to opening
Daily micros changes as dictated by menu 
Attend to the daily management of employee’s time cards 
Manage dining room and guest supply purchases to budget

Salary: 55-75K base plus benefits and perks!
