Luxurious and award-winning resort located on the Baja Peninsula in Los Cabos is offering a rare opportunity for talented Sushi Chef to join the team.
Known for its glamorous ambiance with Mexican charm, this upscale resort is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef for its authentic Japanese restaurant, which offers an outstanding preparation of fresh sushi and sashimi together with a striking selection of Mexican ceviches.
The Sushi Chef must implement the standards and the culinary vision of the resort while following all directives of the Executive Chef.
Be a leader in the Sushi kitchen and a manager of the culinary program, responsible for delivering the highest quality food and service at all times.
Responsible for the implementation of all culinary operational procedures and is responsible for all food production and some types of beverage production.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in Japan or San Francisco as a Sushi Chef.
Possess strong management skills and be able to lead by example.
You will set the standard for quality.
Must have strong knife-handling and butchering skills.
Salary: 100k plus benefits and housing stipend. Relocation included.
