Seeking a Kitchen Manager for this popular American fare restaurant! You will be responsible for following systems and dealing with purchasing and waste logs. You must have a fanatical attention to detail and be a great people-person.
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and make sure everyone is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques. You will oversee prep, cooking, side-work, opening work, and end of shift work for BOH crew. Candidates with a corporate Kitchen Manager background highly encouraged to apply!
Culinary degree or equivalent proven cooking skills and experience required.
Purchasing, processing and receiving deliveries
Organizing walk ins and all storage
Have strong ability to lead and motivate a team
Experienced training others on new items
Possess a positive attitude, outgoing personality and a strong work ethic
Have a passion for the industry and can provide exceptional guest service
Possess strong P&L understanding and a solid record of cost control
Experienced with working with vendors and ordering
Have a proven track record keeping inventory on budget
Can provide excellent references
Spanish speaking a plus
Maintain all kitchen equipment, policies, procedures and processes accordingly to safety sanitation.
Must be able to communicate to all staff clearly and effectively.
