Assistant General Manager for New Oakland Restaurant!

Location: Oakland, CA
Seeking an Assistant General Manager for fun, funky restaurant that is serious about putting out the best possible product with the best customer service.
We're looking for a dynamic individual who delivers excellent customer service skills with a cheerful attitude. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a growing, close-knit team in a great landmark location.Those with beverage management experience or catering sales experience are highly encouraged to apply!

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:  
  • Be a service leader who exemplifies excellent service and handles difficult situations with grace and a smile
  • A positive attitude and warm, personable floor presence
  • Serve as onsite head of training and on boarding, with support from other members of management team. Maintain and implement training programs.
  • Participate in the day-to-day management of the restaurant; set daily goals with and for staff that contribute to a successful team and profitable restaurant
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Excellent communication skills; in person, on the phone and via email
  • 3+ years of restaurant experience with a proven track record of progressive leadership
Salary: $60-70K plus bonuses and benefits
