General Manager for Very Busy San Rafael Restaurant

Location: San Rafael, CA
Seeking Dynamic General Manager for Hot San Rafael Restaurant
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead one of San Rafael’s hottest and busiest restaurants. The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, including but not limited to, measuring business trends, maximizing sales/profitability by training and developing staff, controlling expenses and shortages, maintaining only the best guest service and high food quality, and ensuring that the company’s philosophies and goals are being met. 
Duties & Responsibilities:
·      Coach & develop staff
·      Hiring of staff
·      Management of cash handling within restaurant
·      Ensuring guest satisfaction thru the education of the FOH staff
·      Oversee day to day operations
·      Maintaining cleanliness standards set by senior management
·      Manage facilities within restaurant to ensure that all equipment is in compliance and functioning correctly
·      Produce & maintain staff schedules
·      Store inventory of non-perishables and controllable
·      Oversee, coach & development of FOH supervisor and BOH supervisor
Qualifications:
·      Minimum three years in an GM or AGM position with a focus on fast-casual & organic/sustainable food driven concept
·      Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, or developing team leaders
·      Outgoing personality & self -driven
·      Multi-tasking and problem solving in an environment with little supervision in a very high paced environment
·      Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs
·      Basic POS knowledge of systems such as Aloha or Micros
·      Experience in managing sales excess of $4.8 million
·      ServSafe Manager Certification
·      Bilingual (not a deal breaker but a definite plus)
