Seeking a Sous Chef for a Fun, Highly Acclaimed Restaurant

Location: San Francisco, CA
Fabulous opportunity for a talented sous chef to join and lead a team in a fun, funky landmark location.
The restaurant has enjoyed national award-winning attention for its food and its causal and relaxed atmosphere. This is definitely a fun place to work in a well-supported environment with a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: 
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and maintain a cheerful attitude
  • Experience in a professional kitchen, on hot line, cold line, fryers, and expediting busy lunch and dinner services
  • A demonstrated ability to follow recipes and instruction
  • Knowledgeable about and follows food-service safety and sanitation best practices
  • Solid knowledge of meat and BBQ.
  • Weekend availability, willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be able to safely lift 50+ pounds and stand for more than 4 or more hours at a time
Salary: $50-65k, plus bonus and benefits
