World-Class Napa Winery Seeks Qualified Executive Chef!

Location: Napa, CA
We are a world-class winery offering a high-end experience for our guests. We are looking for an Executive Chef to oversee all food operations for the winery estate and tasting room.  Experience in developing menus based on pairing food with wines a plus as is establishing new winery food programs.
 
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of food service experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
  • Superior understanding of professional classic and modern cooking techniques
  • Experience developing menus and recipes
  • Knowledge of wine and food preparation, presentation and coordination
  • Experience working directly for a winery, fine wine account, or distributor preferred
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop new food programs and tasting experiences to accentuate winery's premium varietals
  • Hire and train culinary staff as needed; specifically a Sous Chef
  • Develop standards and procedures for food service staff
  • Establish vendor relationships
  • Serve as winery spokesperson to local media and VIP guests
