Digital Media Manager /Executive Assistant needed!

Location: San Francisco, CA
DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER/EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT NEEDED!
 
To assist in the Marketing and Public Relations of  this very successful San Francisco restaurant group with social and digital media, photography, website maintenance and design of marketing materials.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the driving force behind all social media initiatives and digital media campaigns
  • Develop editorial calendars and copy for digital and social media campaigns 
  • Oversee in-house social media contributors to ensure they are on-brand, and producing content
  • Coach the culinary team on how to better their social media channels
  • Oversee websites to ensure they are up to company standards, content is current and accurate
  • Engage with audience to best foster community
  • Research and stay current of industry trends and new forms of digital media
  • Responsible for analytics reporting, and providing recommendations on how to improve efforts
  • Photograph new dishes, products and company events/happenings for use on social media
  • Utilize Photoshop, Illustrator and the like to develop polished marketing collateral for use online and in-store
  • Work closely with Public Relations Team and management to produce and design newsletters for communication internally within the company, and externally to guests
  • Promote press coverage, events and general on-going marketing initiatives
  • Manage and promote positive relations with vendors, partners, chefs and managers ensuring a shared vision and communication of timelines
Musts:
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Have a strong understanding of company background, mission statement and the philosophy
  • Familiarity with the food and beverage items on all restaurant menus
  • Manage communications for Chef
  • Manage purchases, payments and shipping
  • Design background; either in graphic, fine arts, etc. required
  • Demonstrated photography experience, including basic working knowledge of Photoshop and/or other photo editing programs
  • More than three (3) years of social and digital media experience
  • Hands-on experience managing the social media presence for a small to mid-sized company
  • Active participation on social media networks
  • Exceptional writing skills and experience writing creative content for web/social media
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work on simultaneous projects at varying stages
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Google analytics knowledge
