Events Manager needed in San Francisco!

Location: San Francisco, CA
 
One of the most celebrated restaurant groups in the San Francisco is seeking an Events Manager!

The Events Manager is responsible for overseeing and growing private/group dining and buyout events. There will be frequent interaction with sister concepts and off site catering.
 
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience with pre-event planning, event logistics and event execution. It is paramount that all candidates possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a highly organized and efficient manner.
 
As the primary point of contact for the restaurant’s private/group dining and event inquiries, the individual must have a deep understanding of and passion for its cuisine. The individual should have impeccable communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with both high profile and high net worth individuals and organizations. Applicants should possess a thoughtful, well-developed business acumen, comfort with numbers and metrics, and a naturally hospitable nature.
 
The scope and span of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
 
  • Plan onsite private/group dining and buyout events 
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of offsite events 
  • Utilize private dining guest management systems and collateral for business generation
  • Tabulate event checks and invoices
  • Track financial performance
 
Working hours will vary depending on the needs of the operation, including nights, holidays and weekends when applicable. This is a full time position with company sponsored health insurance, sick pay, staff meals and a competitive salaried and commissioned compensation package.
